For all “Signature Vines” productions, Stonehedge has carefully sought and individually hand selected the best vines from its vineyards. The 2000 Stonehedge “Signature Vines” Cabernet Sauvignon "Stagecoach Vineyard" Napa Valley  is produced from vines grown on  a steep rocky Napa Valley mountaintop with  minimal topsoil (as little as 14 inches). The harsh mountaintop growing environment naturally forces the vines to produce very low yields. The resulting fruit offers intense flavors. Intensely rich and bold, yet elegantly delicate, this cabernet delivers a massively concentrated core of rich black cherry, currant, plum, chocolate and anise notes. Its tannins are supple and seamless, gliding into a an almost ever lingering finish. Built for the ages!
